Sourcing Manager – Design-to-Order (DTO)
Build supplier partnerships that turn complex customer requirements into scalable, cost-effective and sustainable design-to-order solutions.
Customised customer solutions require a supplier base that can support complexity, speed and technical value creation. As Sourcing Manager – Design-to-Order (DTO), you will strengthen NOVENCO’s competitive position by building supplier partnerships that support engineered solutions, modular thinking, cost optimisation and supply chain resilience.
Your Impact
Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers for customised components, balancing quality, cost, delivery performance, sustainability and supply chain risk.
Bring the right suppliers into early design phases to support Design for Manufacturing principles and optimise total cost of ownership.
Negotiate framework agreements, contracts and pricing structures that support volatile demand, complex components and project-specific requirements.
Build long-term supplier partnerships capable of handling special materials, technical complexity, variable order volumes and long lead times.
Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, with particular focus on delivery reliability, quality, cost efficiency and compliance with standards.
Identify commonalities across customised products to increase component reuse, reduce complexity and support a more scalable supply base.
What Drives Success
Solid experience with Design-to-Order sourcing, international procurement and global supply chain management.
Strong understanding of modular architecture, supplier segmentation, risk management, compliance and relevant quality and sustainability standards.
Commercial strength combined with technical understanding from a project-oriented or engineered-to-order environment.
Ability to challenge design concepts early to prevent unnecessary cost, complexity and material risk.
Strong negotiation skills and professional English communication, both written and spoken.
What We Offer
A central role in Global Sourcing with direct impact on NOVENCO’s supplier strategy and competitiveness.
The opportunity to shape strategic supplier partnerships for complex, customised and technically demanding solutions.
Close collaboration with R&D, Project, Quality, Product Development and Supply Chain stakeholders.
